Middle School STEM Academy

STEM Academy students from both Sheldon ISD middle school campuses engage in STEM-focused instruction that explores real-world problems. Students in the academy participate in a rigorous, in-depth study of science, technology, engineering, and math in a project-based learning environment that closely aligns with high school and college requirements. Lessons include the development of skills that are essential in STEM careers. Students that apply for the academy are selected from a blind lottery and have the option to remain in the program through high school graduation.
