High School STEM/P-TECH Academy
The Sheldon ISD STEM Academy at C.E. King High School is a proud TEA-Designated Pathways in Technology Early College High School (P-TECH).

The P-TECH Academy is a pathway of continued STEM coursework focused on college and career readiness. Students will engage in an in-depth study of science, technology, engineering, and math in a project-based learning environment. Students in the KHS STEM/P-TECH Academy will attend advanced-level STEM-focused Math, Science, English, and Social Studies classes and will have the opportunity to graduate with a STEM endorsement in Advanced Math, Advanced Science, Computer Science, Biomedical Science, or Engineering. P-TECH students will also have the opportunity to earn several college credit hours, up to an Associate's Degree, through San Jacinto College.
Students in the STEM/P-TECH Academy will choose a CTE Program of Study, including Programming & Software Development, Cybersecurity, Engineering Foundations, or Biomedical Science, where they will have the opportunity to earn Industry-Based Certifications. Click the images below to learn more!
