High-Quality STEM Instruction

Sheldon STEM project-based learning integrates TEKS and College Board standards with science, technology, engineering, and math while utilizing the engineering design process and cultivating 21st-century/employability skills.  PBLs are designed as a collaborative and student-centered approach to problem-solving and critical thinking.

Academy training, development, and implementation are credited to the PBL Works Gold Standards and many years of designing and coaching teachers and students through high-quality PBLs that yield positive, measurable outcomes.  As the PBLs are designed for implementation in the STEM classroom, our trained educators use the district curriculum sequentially throughout the process to deepen students' content understanding and connect authentic ideas and solutions.
