Sheldon ISD, an equal opportunity employer, hires approximately 180 certified educators each year who complement the quality of the existing staff. To meet this challenge, we recruit year-round by attending job fairs and college placement activities throughout the nation. Those who meet or exceed the District’s requirements are scheduled for interviews by supervisors and/or campus teams.

Sheldon ISD is looking for exceptionally talented individuals to join our team. We have many employee benefits for our Sheldon ISD staff. These include an Early Learning Center for employee children aged 6 weeks and 4 years old as of September 1st of that school year. The ELC is a licensed childcare center rated three stars with Texas Rising Star. The Early Learning Center utilizes the Frog Street Curriculum which includes early reading and math skill building, fine motor development, and vocabulary building. We also offer a Baby STEM program!
