Rising Star Teacher Mini Grant Program

Submit a 2–3 minute video that includes the following:

1. Introduction – Name, grade level, and school.
2. Your Classroom Vision – Describe your classroom setup and what you aim to create.
3. How You’ll Use the Funds – Be specific about the supplies or materials you'd purchase.
4. Your Passion for Education – Why you became a teacher and what drives you.
5. Creativity Encouraged! – Use storytelling, visuals, student artwork, music, or anything else that expresses your personality and goals.

Videos should be submitted via a private YouTube, Vimeo, or Google Drive link with sharing permissions enabled.

To be eligible, applicants must:

• Be in their first year of full-time teaching with a state of Texas teaching certification,
• Submit a complete video application by the deadline

1. Record your 2–3 minute video.
    
2. Upload your video to an online video platform such as YouTube, Vinmeo, etc. 
    
3. Fill out the online application form (linked on the grant page).
    
4. Include your video link and contact information.

Relevance & Need – How clearly and practically the teacher explains how the grant will help their classroom.

Passion for Teaching – Energy, sincerity, and commitment to education.

Creativity – Originality in presentation and thinking outside the box.

Clarity – How clearly the teacher communicates their ideas and needs.
