Section 1: Ensure that you meet the eligibility requirements for the Bright Idea Grant.
Section 2: Ensure that you have been working your supervisor on this grant and have discussed with them the scope of the project.
Section 3: Background information- what sparked this idea from your experience
Basic information about your name, grades that you teach, subject matter, what is the title of the grant, the total amount of funds that would be needed.
Section 4: Statement of purpose: Describe your creative idea.
Submit your budget below and include any district approved vendors needed to make purchase. This includes an itemized list of purchases to be made with the grant funds.
Provide a statement of why this grant idea is unique and creative, keeping in mind the Judging Criteria.
Section 5: Purpose of the Grant: Explain the grant's importance and how it relates to Sheldon ISD or your campus' improvement plan.
Section 6: Grant Objectives: What will be achieved and state it in measurable terms.
Section 7: Grant Instructional Procedures: Explain the steps for implementing the grant within your classroom or program and how it will be used for instruction.
Section 8: Number of Students Impacted: How many students will benefit from this grant this year? Future years?
Section 9: Grant Evaluation: What criteria will you use to measure the success fromt he implementation of the grant?
Section 10: Can this project be continued in future years?
Section 11: Will you receive additional funs for this project/program (Campus funds, PTA, etc)?
Section 12: Potential Funding Sources: Please list any additional potential funding sources (with dollar amounts anticipated).
Section 13: Has this project been implemented at your campus as either a pilot program or as an active part of instruction?
Section 14: Please describe the program/project and its success?
Section 15: Do you plan to share this program with your grade level, or other grade levels, at your campus?
