Meet the Director of Guidance and Counseling
My name is Jennifer Williams-Bastidas and I am the Director of Guidance and Counseling in Sheldon ISD. I have had the privilege of working as a teacher, counselor, coordinator and presently a director in Sheldon ISD. With over 20 years of experience, I have watched students grow into young ladies and gentlemen, graduate from high school and guided them through their post-secondary options.
After graduating from C.E. King High School in 1999, I attended San Jacinto College North where I earned an associate degree in computer information systems. Afterwards, I transferred to the University of Houston Downtown and earned a bachelor's degree in interdisciplinary studies. I taught for 3 years at Sheldon Intermediate and C.E. King Middle School while working on my master's degree in School Counseling at Sam Houston State University. I have worked as a counselor and advisor for over 14 years and I love it!
I look forward to another successful year as the students adjust to a new school year and get closer to reaching their goals.
Sincerely,
