The CARE award stands for Caught Acting and Responding with Excellence and will recognize Sheldon ISD employees who are demonstrating outstanding customer service.

Ms. Luther has shown professionalism, patience, and a “people-first” attitude & "student-first" attitude first. Regardless of the day she is having or how full her schedule is she always makes sure that her students are taken care of and that parents/staff/community are informed of events and takes care others without hesitation.
On May 17, 2022 we recognized Null Middle School’s Principal Roberto Gonzalez, C.E. King High School’s registered nurse Julia Robles, and Sheldon Early Childhood Academy’s custodian Hanna Woods have been recognized for their outstanding customer service. The CARE Award is a partnership with Woodforest Bank.
Mr. Roberto Gonzalez is the Principal at Null Middle School, he was nominated for his act of kindness. From working with students to sweeping floors in the cafeteria to make sure the lunchroom is ready, he wears many hats in his role at Null Middle School.
Julia Robles is the registered nurse for C.E. King High School.She is described as always willing to help others from departments, all district clinics, our custodians, and our students. She goes the extra mile for our students and staff members with care, compassion, and her passion shows daily!
Hanna Woods, is a custodian at Sheldon Early Childhood Academy. Her peers describe her as a hard worker who loves her job and is always available to help others when needed.

On December 9, Sheldon ISD recognized KASE Academy teacher Margaret Offill. Ms. Offill is described as innovative, handling situations with grace and professionalism. She views education as a calling not just her career and has made a difference in so many students’ lives.

On March 4, Sheldon ISD administration and Woodforest Bank surprised two SISD employees with the CARE Award. Each winner is presented with $100 from Woodforest Bank as well as gifts from SISD. Thank you to our community for nominating more than 40 employees for their excellent customer service.

On Tuesday, December 15, three Sheldon ISD employees were surprised and awarded with the CARE Award for exemplary customer service.
