Middle School STEM Academy
STEM Academy students from both Sheldon ISD middle school campuses engage in STEM-focused instruction that explores real-world problems. Students in the academy participate in a rigorous, in-depth study of science, technology, engineering, and math in a project-based learning environment that closely aligns with high school and college requirements, as well as essential work-based skills. Students that apply for the academy are selected from a blind lottery and have the option to remain in the program through high school graduation.
