High School STEM/P-TECH Academy
The C.E. King High School STEM/P-TECH Academy opened in the fall of 2018 in 9th grade. The academy is a pathway of continued STEM coursework focused on an in-depth study of science, technology, engineering, and math in a project-based learning environment. Students in the KHS STEM/P-TECH Academy will attend advanced-level STEM-focused Math, Science, English, and Social Studies classes. Students in the KHS STEM/P-TECH Academy will be on a college/career pathway with the opportunity to graduate with a STEM endorsement in Advanced Math, Advanced Science, Computer Science, Biomedical Science, or Engineering, along with several college credit hours and opportunity for Industry Based Certifications.
Students in the STEM/P-TECH Academy may choose a CTE Program of Study, including Programming & Software Development, Cybersecurity, Engineering Foundations, or Biomedical Science. Click the images below to learn more!
