Sheldon ISD is a fast growing school district serving neighborhoods surrounding Lake Sheldon in Harris County. The district has approximately 11,000 students and sees roughly a 3% annual enrollment increase. There are 1,600 employees and 13 schools (two early childhood academies, six elementary schools, two middle schools, one high school, 9th grade campus and KASE Academy). The Sheldon ISD population is 87% economically disadvantage and benefits greatly from community partners through donations, resources, and more.
