Attendance Boundaries

Sheldon ISD covers 53.5 square miles and serves several neighborhoods in the Sheldon Lake area. For the last 20 years, 2-3% enrollment growth has driven new construction and expansions throughout the district. Currently, Sheldon ISD serves just under 10,600 students.

The district has attendance boundaries that determine what school a student attends. Students are not transferred from one school to another unless they are involved in a program that is only offered at another campus ( Suzuki Strings, Special Education, etc.) or the student is part of a Compass School transfer.
