School Health Advisory Council

The Student Health Advisory Council ("SHAC") is established by the Board of Trustees to assist the District in ensuring that local community values are reflected in the District’s health education instruction and in policies and resources regarding physical health and activity, mental health, public health services, food services, and related topics. The SHAC meets a minimum of four times per year and reports at least annually to the Board. Meetings are open to the public, though no period of open public comment is required. Minutes, recordings, and reports of all meetings will be available here on the district website. See Board policies BDF(LEGAL), EHAA(LEGAL and LOCAL), and FFA(LOCAL) for more information.
