Q: How do I log in to check my e-mail from home?
A: Visit https://mail.sheldonisd.com. You will be prompted for your username and password. Your username is your employee ID number.


Q: Can I bring my laptop from home and use it on the network?
A: Yes, however, you will have to connect your laptop to the SISDBYOD network. When you launch your browser you will be prompted to verify your credentials. 


Q: How can I reset my password?
A: From your machine, you can press the Ctrl+Alt+Delete keys at the same time, you will get a pop-up box where you can press Change Password. You will be prompted to enter your old password and then enter your new password twice. There is also someone on your campus who can reset your password for you!


Q: What if I forget my password?
A: If you don't know your password, your campus I.T.S. person can reset it for you.

Q: I can't get into my voicemail. What do I do?
A: If you can’t access your voicemail or have forgotten your password, you must submit a work order through Eduphoria with the following information: Name, Room Number, and Extension.

Note: If you input your password incorrectly 3 times the system will lock you out and you will need to open a new work order.

 

Q: I have a problem with my computer. What do I do?
A: All computer problems need to be submitted to our helpdesk system for support.  You will find the helpdesk icon when you log into Eduphoria at http://sheldon.schoolobjects.com  Issues will be handled by campus ITS and our team on a first come first serve basis.


Q: My name has legally changed. How do I get my E-mail and login changed to match?
A: All name changes must be submitted through Personnel Services. Once they have been made aware of the changes, the Technology Department will be notified and we will make the requested changes.


Q: I would like to buy equipment for my classroom. Where do I get it from?
A: All district computer equipment is purchased from one vendor. For this reason, we ask that you go through the technology department.


Q: Why does my computer always ask me to change my password?
A: The district requires that all passwords be changed every thirty days. Your computer will start asking you to change your password fifteen days before your password actually expires. We recommend that you go ahead and change your password when you first start receiving warnings.
