Students can use their voice and ‘See Something, Do Something™

The patented Anonymous Alerts system empowers these individuals to anonymously report incidents such as bullying, cyberbullying, harassment, dating violence, drug or alcohol use, threats, weapons, and more directly to school administrators. These school administrators can continue the conversation by using the system’s anonymous 2-way communications® messaging tool with students.

"Anonymous Alerts will be an effective tool to help us with safety communications as we continue to build strong school environments and communities.  The ability for our students and parents to easily access the system on their phone, tablet, or computer will empower them to securely share a variety of sensitive issues with school administrators, who can continue the conversation back and forth," said King Davis, Sheldon ISD Superintendent.

The Anonymous Alerts® app can be downloaded for free and is available on Apple and Android.  Students, parents, and staff members have the ability to gain access to the system by using a simple activation code that will be provided by the district.  In addition, there will be an Anonymous Alerts® web-button located on Sheldon ISD’s website that students, parents, and others can click to access a website where they can send a web-based report.  The app and web form are multilingual. Submitters can enhance their report by attaching a photo, video, or screenshot.  In the mobile reporting app, students will be able to view a “helpful links and resources” section that contains links to various informational websites and videos related to cyberbullying, social and emotional learning, self-harm prevention, and mental health self-help content. The system will be monitored during school days between the hours of 7 am and 5 pm.

“We are very thrilled to be working with Sheldon ISD to help spread awareness about bullying and school safety with our cutting-edge anonymous reporting system while allowing school leaders to detect, defer, and deny potential problems and take immediate action,” said T. Gregory Bender, President & CEO of Anonymous Alerts, LLC.
