Yaritza Sifuentes, a math teacher at King High School, is the September Honored National Teacher. As the recipient of the Honored National Teacher Award, she received a $5,000 cash award and a $1,000 gift card to Donors Choose. She was nominated by one of her students. Additionally, Jorge Castillo, an esteemed writer for the Los Angeles Times, will write her story highlighting her impact on her students' lives.
