Sheldon ISD’s Education Foundation held its third annual Sheldon Summer Scramble at the Clubs of Kingwood on June 16 with record participation. Approximately 125 golfed in the event raising a gross total of approximately $75,000. Proceeds from the tournament will fund innovative teaching grants submitted by Sheldon ISD educators. This year’s tournament was presented by Huckabee.
“We are extremely appreciative of the support of our donors and sponsors in this year’s tournament,” said Director of Communications and Community Partnerships Emily Conklin, APR. “Every dollar raised will go back into our classroom to make a difference for our students and teachers.”
