Sheldon hosts first Blue Card luncheon

The Blue Card Program is an initiative to honor all of our supporters in the district who are age 65 or older. One of Sheldon ISD’s goals is to create and foster an environment where all stakeholders are engaged and actively involved in the work we do for children. The success of our students is a shared responsibility of community members, parents, and educators, and we believe a community’s collective power is greater than individual efforts.

Members receive free entry to district-sponsored fine arts and sporting events as well as a free luncheon each year with an opportunity to learn more about the district and engage with district leaders. This year’s luncheon included a presentation from Superintendent Dr. King Davis as well as student fine arts performances from the King Middle School dance team and the King High School drama department.
