Girls STEM Academy

Sheldon ISD received a grant for our girls to attend the Girls STEM Academy at Space Center Houston for 5 days of lessons and activities from building and launching rockets on the Launchpad, researching rocketry and learning to fly drones and robotics. This program is designed to encourage middle -school girls to pursue STEM careers through hands-on activities that involve Science, Technology, Engineering and Math.
