On May 19, Sheldon ISD surprised teachers by awarding $68,000 in innovative teaching grants.

If your child will return to Sheldon ISD for the 2023-2024 school year, it is necessary to update your residency information in order to be registered for the upcoming school year.

At the May 16 school board meeting, Dr. Demetrius McCall has been unanimously approved as the Sheldon ISD Superintendent of Schools. He was announced as the district’s lone finalist on April 18. Texas law requires a 21-day waiting period prior to extending a formal contract to the superintendent.

This week, the Sheldon ISD Drone Pilot Luncheon sponsored by Sheldon STEM, was held to celebrate 23 C. E. King HS certified FAA Drone Pilots and their Engineering teacher, Ms. Simpson.

At the 2023 Sheldon Stars Employee Banquet, Sheldon ISD celebrated the achievements of more than 65 employees, including the naming of Teacher of the Year.
