TAEA Youth Art State Show featuring two Sheldon ISD students

Collage of the two art pieces going to the Youth Art State Show

Sheldon ISD sees another first in SISD history as two student artworks are being featured in the TAEA (Texas Art Education Association) Youth Art Month State Art Show. C.E. King High School sophomore Axel Cruz Pineda and Sheldon Early Childhood Academy pre-kindergarten student Juilette Griffin presented artwork in competition with districts from across Texas. This marks only the second time Sheldon ISD has had a student selected for this statewide honor. Their selected works will be displayed for the entire month of March at the Bob Bullock Texas History Museum near the capitol building in Austin, Texas, and a select few of those can even be chosen for display in the Governor's Mansion and/or a TAEA touring art show across the state.
