SISD School Calendar Approved for the 2026-27 School Year

The 2026-27 calendar has been approved by the Sheldon ISD Board of Trustees. Highlights of the upcoming school year include the following start date, student holidays, and last day of school:
- First Day of School - Wednesday, August 12
- Fall Break - Monday, October 12 - Friday, October 16
- Thanksgiving Break - Monday, November 23 - Friday, November 27
- Winter Break - Monday, December 21 - Tuesday, January 5
- Spring Break - Monday, March 8 - Friday, March 12
- Last day of school - Thursday, May 27
