Sheldon ISD’s Jana Rolling named Director of Teaching and Learning

Mrs. Jana Rolling has proudly served as the principal of Sheldon Elementary since 2021. Over her 15-year career with Sheldon ISD, she has held a variety of roles, including principal, campus assistant principal, district elementary math curriculum coordinator, math and science instructional coach, and classroom teacher. Her dedication and leadership were recognized in 2023–2024 when she was named Sheldon ISD Elementary Principal of the Year. Under her guidance, Sheldon Elementary has achieved the prestigious designations of AVID Showcase Campus and Dr. Jay Cummings Demonstration Campus.
She will begin her new role at central administration this summer. Sheldon ISD will begin the search for a new leader for Sheldon Elementary School.
