Sheldon ISD Welcomes New Chief Financial Officer

Sheldon ISD is pleased to welcome Mrs. LeAna Price as the district’s new Chief Financial Officer. Mrs. Price brings 25 years of experience in public school finance and a strong background in financial leadership and school district operations.

Prior to joining Sheldon ISD, Mrs. Price served as Director of Finance for Goose Creek CISD, where she spent her career growing through several finance roles and developing extensive experience in supporting district financial operations. Mrs. Price is a Registered Texas School Business Administrator (RTSBA) and holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and a Master of Business Administration. She is currently pursuing a Doctor of Business Administration with a specialization in Organizational Leadership and Development.

As Chief Financial Officer, Mrs. Price is committed to building strong relationships, supporting and developing staff, and helping district leaders understand the financial side of their work. She looks forward to ensuring Sheldon ISD’s resources remain aligned with district priorities and, most importantly, support the students and staff we serve.
