Sheldon ISD Unites for Annual Convocation to Kick Off New School Year

On August 8, more than 1,600 Sheldon ISD employees came together to celebrate the start of the 2025-26 school year during the district’s annual Convocation. This year’s theme, OneSheldon, highlighted unity, collaboration, and a shared commitment to student success.
The high-energy event featured standout performances from King High School student groups, KHS alumni Tejano Band, and the Spark Plugs staff band — an ensemble of district employees who volunteered their talents on vocals and instruments.
