Sheldon ISD Students Kick Off an Exciting New School Year

On August 12, Sheldon ISD welcomed approximately 11,000 students in pre-kindergarten through 12th grade for the start of the 2025-26 school year. Located just northeast of downtown Houston, the 53-square-mile district is home to 13 campuses and a growing community. Known for its rich history and innovative programs, Sheldon ISD offers engaging learning opportunities at every level—from early childhood to high school. The district is dedicated to fostering an environment where every student can thrive, dream big, and achieve their goals.
