Sheldon ISD Names Christopher Carter Principal of Carroll Elementary

District welcomes a familiar leader committed to student success, school culture, and continued campus growth.

Sheldon ISD is proud to announce the appointment of Mr. Christopher Carter as the new principal of Carroll Elementary School. A familiar and trusted leader on campus, Mr. Carter previously served as assistant principal and has played an important role in the school’s success. His leadership has strengthened instructional systems, supported student achievement, and fostered a school environment where students, staff, and families feel valued and supported. His commitment to academic excellence and student success has helped lay a strong foundation for Carroll Elementary’s continued growth.

Mr. Carter brings extensive public education experience and a strong understanding of the Carroll Elementary community. He holds a bachelor’s degree in Education from Bowling Green State University and a master’s degree in Educational Administration and Supervision from Ball State University. He is currently pursuing a Doctor of Education in Educational Administration and Supervision at the University of Houston-Clear Lake.

Sheldon ISD is excited to welcome Mr. Carter into this new leadership role and looks forward to Carroll Elementary’s continued success under his guidance.
