Sheldon ISD welcomed more than 180 community partners and Education Foundation donors to its annual State of the District luncheon, sponsored by Huckabee, on September 25. The Sheldon ISD Education Foundation, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit that raises funds for teachers and students, hosted the event to celebrate partnerships, showcase student talent, and announce the kickoff of the new 2026 Annual Campaign.

Guests heard an inspiring presentation from Superintendent Dr. Demetrius McCall and learned about new opportunities to partner and volunteer in Sheldon ISD through the launch of the 2026 Annual Campaign. Attendees also enjoyed dynamic student performances, including the King High School Pantherette officers, Null Middle School Dance Company, King High School Drumline, Null Middle School Honor Choir, and the King High School Band and Varsity Mixed Choir. In addition, student artwork from Cravens Early Childhood Academy, Sheldon Early Childhood Academy, and Sheldon Elementary was proudly on display.
