Sheldon ISD is pleased to announce Ms. Meikka Jackson as the new Principal of Monahan Elementary!
Ms. Jackson brings more than 20 years of experience in education and instructional leadership, along with a strong connection to Sheldon ISD. During her time in the district, she has served as a teacher at Garrett Elementary, teacher and interventionist at Monahan Elementary, and currently serves as Dean of Instruction at C.E. King Middle School.
Her return to Monahan brings her Sheldon ISD journey full circle as she steps into her new role as Principal. Ms. Jackson is committed to ensuring every child is known, valued, challenged, and supported while building strong relationships with students, staff, families, and the community.
