Pantherettes Win

The Pantherettes of C.E. King High School recently delivered a spectacular performance, earning top honors and showcasing the remarkable talent of both their officers and team members.

Two members of the Pantherettes—Gabby Martinez and Dezerae Williams—competed in the Division 1 solo category, representing their school with poise and skill. The Pantherettes’ officers earned high marks for their outstanding routines, securing Sweepstakes & Judges Awards for scores of 90 and above. Among their achievements were second-place finishes in Officer Jazz and Officer Contemporary, as well as a first-place award in Officer Novelty. These awards reflect the officers' exceptional technical skill and creativity. The officers were also honored with a place in the Champions Circle, a distinction for top performers. The Pantherettes’ team displayed impressive teamwork and discipline, achieving Sweepstakes & Judges Awards for scores of 90 and above. Their team routines earned them second place in both Pom and Contemporary categories. Most notably, the Pantherettes claimed first place in Team Novelty, a crowning achievement for their innovative and energetic performance. Their outstanding efforts also earned them a spot in the Champions Circle for teams. Top-Ranked Team: The Pantherettes earned a third-place finish in the highly competitive Top-Ranked Team category, showcasing their strength and unity as a group.

These remarkable achievements underscore the Pantherettes' dedication to excellence in dance. Their performances at the competition are a reflection of their hard work, determination, and commitment to their craft. The Pantherettes and director Brooke Luther continue to represent C.E. King High School with pride and are poised for even more success in the future.
