Michael R. Null Middle School teacher receives Gulf Coast Educators FCU 2026 Appreciated Teacher Award

On May 5, Sheldon ISD administration and Gulf Coast Educators FCU surprised Racquel Edwards, teacher at Michael R. Null Middle School, with the Appreciated Teacher Award for 2026. Each year, Gulf Coast Educators FCU recognizes teachers through a program designed to honor the work of dedicated educators who make a difference in our community. Once a committee determines the finalists, the public can vote on their choice for Appreciated Teacher of the Year. For this year’s awards, there were approximately 193 nominations from more than 39 school districts across the state.
