Marcy Jackson named principal of Sheldon Elementary

Sheldon ISD announces the hiring of Ms. Marcy Jackson as the new principal of Sheldon Elementary. Ms. Jackson is the current assistant principal at Sheldon Elementary where she has served in a leadership role for the students and staff since 2023.
Ms. Jackson has 15 years of educational experience serving in elementary schools as a teacher, math/science specialist and assistant principal. She has worked with students and families in Sheldon ISD at Royalwood Elementary and Sheldon Elementary since 2019. She has a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Houston and a Master of Education from the University of St. Thomas. Ms. Jackson replaces Mrs. Jana Rolling who was named Sheldon ISD’s Director of Teaching and Learning last month.
