On Wednesday November 20, Sheldon ISD held the Annual Elementary Gifted and Talented Expo featuring approximately 300 projects.

First through fifth grade students presented their projects for community members and spectators. First grade students studied unusual or unique animals and created habitats to display. On display was every animal you could think of, including Blue Dragon Sea Slugs! Second Graders studied famous people and were responsible for the living museum. Individuals on display were Kalpana Chawla, a famous astronaut along Pablo Picasso. We were even greeted by appearances from Lebron James, Simone Biles, Taylor Swift. Lionel Messi and Beyonce were even autographing pictures for their guests!  Third grade displayed their cities and towns, as they created their own Utopian Destinations. From Spooky Halloween Towns, to Heavenly City a place was created that anyone could live. Fourth graders placed their Enigmas on trial, as they worked to prove their case and solve their Enigma mystery. Big Foot, is he real? Nessie, does she exist? The WOW sound, where is it coming from? Finally, fifth graders presented their collectibles and showcased their own opinions as a Fad or Fortune. Everything from lunch boxes to beanie babies, barbies, coins were on display!
