Fine Arts department hosts first Signing Day

On Friday, May 2, the Sheldon ISD Fine Arts Department was proud to honor its C.E. King High School seniors who participate in Art, Band, Choir, Dance, Journalism, and Theatre who have committed to attend college in the fall at its first ever Fine Arts Signing Day. At that event, SISD recognized 35 soon-to-be graduates who will attend college in non-Fine Arts fields, such as medicine, engineering, and business - including 7 who signed their commitment to continue participating in a Fine Art in college outside of their major - and 26 seniors who signed their commitments to attend college in a Fine Arts field - including 4 with the intention of becoming art or music teachers.
