Sheldon ISD hosted its annual AVID Reader program this week. All six elementary campuses and both early childhood academy campuses took part in the competition. The contest is designed to foster the love of literacy, while challenging students to think critically to answer the question about the book. Students are responsible for reading 30 award winning books. Over 430 Sheldon students took to the books to compete as top AVID readers! Congratulations to our campus winners and all those who participated.
