Elementary Art Students Level up Their Art

Sheldon ISD had PreK-5th grade students from Sheldon Early Childhood Academy, Carroll Elementary, Monahan Elementary, Royalwood Elementary, and Sheldon Elementary competed in the Region 4N Texas Art Education Association (TAEA) Texas Elementary Art Meet (TEAM) online. This TEKS-aligned art contest serves as a preparatory event building towards the high school VASE art contest, the top academic event in the state for the art field.
We are proud to announce that 22 students earned the top ratings of a 3-Exemplary or 2-Good. Additionally 2 of our students earned Top of TEAM, making them among the top 10% of elementary art entries statewide and will be featured on the TEAM online gallery this year.
