Early College High School welcomes Class of 2030!

Approximately 135 Sheldon ISD middle school students were initiated into Early College High School during a pinning ceremony on April 9. The ECHS allows them to graduate with an associate degree from San Jacinto College, free of cost. By 2030, these students will have the opportunity to graduate with both their high school diploma and an associate degree from San Jacinto College.
We are proud to celebrate our Early College High School students who participated in the recent Pinning Ceremony, marking their commitment to a rigorous academic path. Sheldon ISD is proud to offer a TEA-designated Early College High School. Through this program, students take on college-level coursework while still in high school, demonstrating dedication and perseverance. The ceremony symbolizes their readiness to meet high expectations and pursue advanced opportunities. We applaud their hard work and the support of their families and educators!
