C. E. King High School’s Criminal Justice Career Technical Student Organization (CTSO) delivered an impressive showing at the Texas Public Safety Association (TPSA) State Conference, competing against more than 101 high schools from across the state. Their performance, marked by top placements and near-perfect scores, should make the school community feel proud and recognized for their hard work. Students earned multiple top-five placements, including 3rd place in Drone NIST with a near-perfect score of 98.000 pts and 5th place in Opening Statement with 91.500 pts, showcasing excellence in both tactical and courtroom-based events. These results reflect the program’s commitment to preparing students for real-world public safety careers through rigorous training and hands-on experience.

Competing at the TPSA State Conference is a notable achievement, but ranking among Texas's top performers highlights the dedication of students and educators alike. The C. E. King High School Criminal Justice CTSO continues to foster a legacy of excellence, leadership, and service that reflects the program's core values and the Sheldon ISD community. Their state-level success stands as a testament to their hard work and readiness to lead as the next generation of public safety professionals.
