AVID Reader District Competition

Recently Sheldon ISD held its annual AVID Reader Contest. The contest is designed to foster the love of literacy, while challenging students to think critically to answer the question about the book. Students are responsible for reading 30 award winning books. This year’s contest featured students in kindergarten through third grade, with more than 305 students participating.
Congratulations to Cravens Early Childhood Academy, the district Kindergarten Champion and Elementary Champion Garrett Elementary.
