This is a three for one because work together to ensure holistic mental wellness programming. All 3 programs worked with us at the back-to-school bash. Nate’s Way donated food, first aid kits, perishables and household items. ATO has already started working with students since 1st day of school ( social emotional support).

- Celebrated National School Counseling Week (February 13-17)
- This month is Black History Month and CTE Month
- CE King High School Football team had 14 athletes sign to play college football on the National Signing Day (Feb 1). Another signing date will be on April 12 for other sport athletes.
- VASE (Visual Art Scholastic Event) Regional Contest artists were announced. There were 20 medalist for Sheldon ISD out of the 35,000 entries state wide. State qualifiers are:

Students Giving Back- SISD students helped clear a fallen tree in the yard of Mr. Albert Benoit. King Middle School students Jerel Harris, Greyson Parker, Ke'shon Gales, De'shon Gales, King 9th Grade student Kardarion Estes and James Ross.

TASB- Sheldon ISD has been a member of TASB Risk Management for 50 years
Adopt a School- Exotic Welding Academy has adopted SECA as their campus to support.
KMS Soccer Volunteers- Coaches Gonzales and Lopez (both KHS alumni) volunteered to keep the soccer program going at their campus following the end of the After School Program grant last year. They carried 55 students forward for another year, volunteering over 62 hours in practice and games.

C.E. King high school senior, Zoe Quiroga, has been selected to have her artwork displayed at the Texas Art Education Association Youth Art Month Show in Austin this spring. This is the first Sheldon ISD student selected for this distinction.
Null Middle School theatre program has own first place overall at the Middle School Theatre UIL One Act Play contest. They presented Dwayne Hartford's "The Miraculous Journey of Edward Tulane".
