Principal Becky Zalesnik
As we begin our 3rd year here at Michael R. Null Middle School, we are very excited about continuing once again to meet the needs of our students and move our school from “good to GREAT”. I am looking forward to another productive year as our school enrollment grows and we have the opportunity to impact even more students in a positive way and assist them in reaching their full potential. We will continue to work on our motto of “Building a Tradition of Excellence” and I believe we have just the staff in place to be a “premier middle school”.
I am beginning my 22nd year in Sheldon ISD. I previously taught Business and Computer Courses at King High school where I also enjoyed coaching basketball, softball, tennis, track, and cross-country. I attended Sam Houston State University where I received my bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, certification in Business Education and master’s degree in Education Administration.
My personal goal for Null Middle School is that it will be a place where every student’s potential will be revealed, respected, and fulfilled. I believe in focusing on the student’s individual needs in the process of learning to become successful problem-solvers. In my spare time I enjoy playing softball, tennis, and spending time with my husband David who is a Houston Firefighter.
