Jamming to Good Nutrition

Throughout the year they will be “Jamming to Good Nutrition”. So check out the monthly menus thru out the year to see what good nutrition tips they will have for the students. Lyle and Lilly have been cooking up some brand new menus so don’t miss what they have done. Come to the cafeteria for some great new items.

National School Lunch Program

The National School Lunch Program is a federally assisted meal program. The Food and Nutrition Service, under the United States Department of Agriculture, administers the program at the federal level. At the state level, it is administered by the Texas Department of Agriculture which operates the programs through agreements with districts. School lunches must meet the Dietary Guidelines for Americans as well as federal nutrition requirements.
