I am from the small town of Frazee, Minnesota. I Moved to Texas in 2001 for my first teaching job. I have been at Sheldon ISD since 2009. I taught 5th grade Reading, Language, Social Studies and Math for 8 years at New Caney ISD.

I have been married to my wife Tiffany since 2003.  We have a son named Sam. All my family members are teachers except for my wife. Ranging from kindergaten to high school.
