Our KHS Sophomores as well as interested juniors took PSAT 10/14/2009. Please review the college board link, explaining PSAT, its purpose, and how the test is utilized for college planning.
CBE (Credit By Exam)- November 3, 4 & 5th

All KHS students are welcome to take Credit By Exam if they would like to accelerate by earning credits early or recovering previous credits. Attached please find the review sheets for exams offered by Texas Tech University (Distance Learning Education).
ASVAB (Armed Services Vocational Aptitude Battery)- November 24, 2009
Results will be shared with 10th grade as well as interested 12th grade students in the Spring semester who took the test November 24th. Attached please find the website explaining the A.S.V.A.B. test, its purpose, and how it can be utilized by students, parents, and community members. An important aspect of A.S.V.A.B. is the Career Exploration database, an exhaustive database that fully explains nearly 500 careers, to include the armed forces.
